Today we got to dress up and play with the law. This evidently led to an intense photo taking session. We were playing the Suits theme song and taking insta videos. My class is too much fun! Let the photos do the talking.

My Sundays are usually boring and uneventful. That's why i like to go around town and discover new things. Okay, wait. That sounds like every other day. Alright. Where were we? Right, discovering new things - be it a new dish, drink or a place. This time round, i had reports to do and i decided to do a little multi-tasking.

I've always been a Starbucks stance. Never have i stepped into Coffee Bean willingly. But, i tried their Mocha Latte today, it was exquisite! The sugar level was right and it was really apt for the weather. So, there i was, sipping on my piping hot beverage, contemplating on life and not really doing my work. You know what they say, drink coffee and do stupid things faster? Yeah, that applies for Mocha flavoured drinks too. Their the "hybrid" beverage. I've always loved anything Mocha-flavoured. It's like they're neither here nor there - "I may be chocolatey, but i could also be coffee-ish". For a whole half-hour, i found myself staring into a blank screen and basically just devouring the drink. I wish i could get a refill. But, no that's enough for one day.

A few days back, i went on a study date with a friend of mine. You should know her, you see her in a lot of my photos. We situated ourselves at Coffee Bean, because you don't get Starbucks at Bishan. There i was, clueless on what to order as i froze to death. She got herself something chocolatey. Knowing myself, i couldn't handle chocolate for another week. So, i decided to go for a latte. Which latte, you ask? Well, a friend of mine told me to try the hazelnut latte a few days back. I heard her voice echoing in my head. So, i went with the flow and got the Hazelnut Latte. IT WAS GOOOOOOOD TILL THE LAST DROP!

I've never been a fan of CBTL food. Maybe it's because of the minimal choices i have. Anyway, moving on. Later that day, i maneuvered my way to Starbucks to try the portobello & roasted vegetable tomato wrap. Everything was perfect. The spinach dressing was amazing. My question was....where were the tomatoes? All in all, it was too filling. I couldn't handle 1 wrap to myself. It should be shared. Maybe on a date with the love of your life or something, enjoy a wrap! The cheese was overwhelming. That's all i remember.

Well, that's all for today! I'm gonna get all suited up for tomorrow's presentation for our law module. It's going to be fun!

Good night, folks!

Leanna and i headed down to Tiong Bahru, the heart of eateries we've never heard of. Honestly speaking, the area is outstandingly secluded from civilisation. It was a 5 minute walk to get to Forty H4nds. Our plan was to discover these places one by one. We find joy in this. So, back on track - we took a seat at this Cafe. I got myself a large mocha, while Leanna got herself  a big plate of meaty goodness. I'd have to admit that i fell in love with the ambience and the friendly staff working there. Their serving style was really cute too. They'd serve you water in this cute glass bottle, which was kind of heavy for myself, and little glass cups. Well, if i lived around the area, Forty H4nds would definitely be my favourite hangout space for my mates and i. After our little chill chit-chat session, we headed down the road to Books Actually, a bookstore. This place spells vintage all over. With a gift shop inside the bookshop, selling memorial vinyls, books and games, i instantly fell in love. If you're restless at home and haven't got any of your friends to tag along with, head on down to this bookstore for a little reading time. Maybe even pick out a book or two. Well, there's always something to discover in Singapore. Well, my next journey should be to another cafe! Stay tuned.
So, until next time, au revoir!
